Israeli-born, Tzipora Harris completed her B.A. in Psychology from Yeshiva University and subsequently studied with exceptional mentors in Jerusalem seminaries. She then married Aish HaTorah Rabbi Chanoch (Henry) Harris and moved to Manhattan’s Upper West Side to work in outreach for twelve years.

In 2008, Tzipora joined other women who were concerned about the rise in suffering amongst the Jewish people and approached several spiritual leaders, including Rebbetzin Esther Jungreis of Hineni in New York and Rabbi Noah Weinberg of Aish HaTorah in Jerusalem. Rabbi Weinberg stressed the importance of encouraging women to meet in groups to collectively stretch beyond their comfort zone and focus on strengthening their capacity to truly love every Jew.

Passionate about inspiring ordinary people to do extraordinary things, Tzipora, in addition to a team of committed women in Israel, inspired numerous groups to form worldwide and the AY Project was born. Tzipora currently lives with her family in Passaic, NJ where she continues to be part of an AY group.
